The concert that brings Afrosoul musicians and fans together, Koroga Festival, is back for its ninth edition.
Headlining the show will be Ali Kiba while Burundian musican, Kidum and Kenyan songstress Atemi will be the openers.
Other than music there will be various exhibitions of art, jewellery, photography and fashion among others. There will also be several drink and food vendors. Dj Protégé and Dj Andre will be on the decks.
It will be held at the Nairobi Arboretum as usual on the November 15 from 12pm , advance tickets on Ticketsasa are going for Sh 1500, gate tickets will cost Ksh 2000, and entry is free for kids under 12 years.
Christmas comes early with Bizarre Bazaar Christmas Craft Festival.
The event will include charity stalls offering traditional and contemporary fashion, household and body products
It will also include fun games and activities for the children with Biz Baz Kids Club and East African Explorer
It will be held at Karura Forest on November 14 and 15 from 9am to 6.30pm. Entry charges are Sh300 Adults and Sh100 for Under 18’s
This event is for the book lovers, who would love to meet other book lovers and share their books.
It is an event that aims to encourage the reading culture in the country and a platform where African writers get exposure and share their experience of the writing world with their fans and other writers.
There will be a guest reader, Karanja Nzisa, who will read some of the books of interested selected by the audience. There will also be book review of a pre-selected local author.
It will be held at the Meriada Gardens on November 15th from 1.30 pm to 5pm. Entrance is Sh500
