Indeed, according to the UK National Health Services on the benefits of cycling it is good for body joints and helps build cardio vascular fitness. “It's a low-impact type of exercise, so it's easier on your joints than running or other high-impact aerobic activities. But it still helps you get into shape.”

The ZenCycle regime includes a 45 minutes workout with music playing in the background to provide motivation to the trainers and trainees, “We love music and so our classes have been designed so that you ride to the beat of your favorite tunes. We dim down the lights, so it feels like a party on a bike but most of all to give you a personal experience so that you can zone out and really focus on yourself and your goals.”

The facility also has a juice bar and an active wear shop. “In the spirit of dressing for success, ZenCycle has an activewear boutique with brands new to Kenya, like Lorna Jane, Tikiboo and limited edition Zen Cycle brands. After working on being the best version of yourself, you can relax and refuel at our juice bar.”
