Kenya kids have a chance to enjoy the last moments of their holiday before the schoools re-open thanks to various creative activities taking place country-wide. From festivals to cooking classes, the activities children a chance to learn while they play.
One of these activities will be the Sarova Whitesands Kids Party. Being held on Saturday August 29th, the party will feature activities such as a comedy show, dance, acrobatics, magic show. There will also be a tree-house for the children to enjoy as well as music and various other outdoor activities. The party is organised by the Sarova Ozone Club, a kids club of the hotel that caters to children between the ages of seven and 14 years.
Advance tickets for the party are Sh1000 while at the gate they will pay Sh1200. This price will be inclusive of lunch for the children and a three month trial membership for free. For the accompanying parent or guardian, there will be a swimming discount.

Every Wednesday and Saturday, the Kids Cooking Corner teaches children how to be confident in creative cooking. The classes see kids whip up various dishes such as snacks and desserts all of which make use of healthy foodstuff.Held at Fourways Junction inKiambu, the classes cost Sh1500 per child or Sh1200 per sibling. Adega Restaurant in Lavington offers children a chance to learn art every Monday and Thursday. For any of the following combo meals charged at Sh999 each, a child gets free art classes between noon and 2pm. The meals are Juice, Chicken/Veggie Burger and Chips or Juice, Chicken Nuggets and Chips. The classes are aimed at children aged six to eight years and nine to 12 years.
