The Nairobi National Museum
On 1st January, the Nairobi National Museum will host a fun day event for Kenyan families.
The event is meant to give parents a chance to bond with their kids before they return to school.
It will include activities such as jewellery making, art painting, card making, drawing, mask making and puppet making among other for the families.
There will also include an activity called ‘know your museum’ where parents and children will be allowed to roam around the museum with a guide to explore the museum, its artifacts and the snake park.
For kids, there will also be other activities such as: bouncy castles, horse riding, clowns to entertain them, dance competitions, face painting, balloon art, outdoor games and trampolines among others.

Westgate Kids Art and Craft Corner at Westgate Shopping Mall
Kenyan families can also indulge in artsy fun filled activities at the Westgate Shopping Mall which will host a kids’ art and craft corner on the 1st of January 2017.
Children will have the chance to take part in activities that involve: magic cubes, puzzles, crayons, water-colors, moulding play, building blocks, magnetic letters and activity books among others.
