Kenyan families can have a fun filled weekend thanks to various activities taking places around the city such as:
For the dog lovers, who want to show off their pets or meet other dog lovers, dogtoberfest will hold its second edition at the Karura Forest (KFEET Grounds).
There will be activities such as; dog/human lookalike contest, dog adoption, micro chipping/registration, and Nairobi dog agility. Also available will be a kids area for them to play and there will be plenty of food and drinks on sale.
It will take place on Sunday, 25th October from 11am to 5pm.
Charges are: adults Sh800 advance, Sh1000 at the gate and for kids, Sh300 (tickets available at www.ticketsasa.com)
Cake Art Affair
The bi-monthly event, Cake Art Affair, will hold its fourth edition at the Nairobi Arboretum. It seeks to bring together art lovers and artists.
At the venue, there will be various stands which will feature memory lanes exhibitions of photos taken from previous editions, paintings and drawings on display by several fine art artists in Nairobi.
On the main stage, there will be performances from seven different live bands and four solo musicians, five poets will entice the crowd with their words, seven photographers will be taking pictures of people and the events ongoing and five bakers will be putting their skills to work for cakes that will be shared with all the attendees at the end of the day.
Tickets are going for Sh400 advance and Sh500 at the gate. It will take place from 12pm to 6pm.

If you are feeling nostalgic or you simply just love the movie, Sarafina, then you are in luck because this weekend Spellcast Media will present a musical of the movie at Braeburn Theatre in Lavington.
