Kenyan families have a chance to enjoy the Halloween weekend in different areas in the city and the country partying, camping or watching classic musical plays. Here are some of the fun-filled activities.
Village Market Halloween Party
On the 31st Village Market will host a party dubbed the Addams Family Reunion from 6pm till late the party for both adults and children.
Kids’ activities will take place on the rooftop which include; bouncy castles, face painting, trick and treating around the mall while being supervised by the staff and visiting the house of horror.
Adults, on the other hand, will enjoy themselves at the food court where there will be a comedy show featuring Eric Omondi and Cutis Cook from the USA, photo sessions and a costume competition where the best will be awarded vouchers and gifts from the various shops in the mall.
There will also be Halloween themed food and drinks. Fireworks display will take place at 10pm.

Halloween party at the Carnivore
On the Saturday, Carnoivore restaurant will host a kids party at their Simba Saloon playground.
It will include a best costume competition, special halloween deserts, special smacks and treats. They will also have a special trick or treat around the restaurant.

Halloween in the Bush
Storms Resort and Campsite in Nanyuki, Rift Valley will be hosting a Halloween party for both adults and kids on the 31st of October to the 1st November.
There will be different kids’ and adults activities such as street racing, camping, paintball, quadbiking and music from Dj Mr Incredible.
It will start at noon till late. Entry is free for residents and Sh1000 for non residents.

Shaggy Dog Show
This event is for dog lovers to show off man’s best friend in different competitions such as; the happiest dog, the best groomed dog, best family of dogs, fancy dress and of course the shaggiest dog
It will take place on the 1st of November at the Ngong Race course from 8am.

The Magic Flute
The premiere of the musical play, Mozart’s Magic Flute, in Kenya will take place on 1st November 2015.The play seeks to teach about love and bravery.
Some of the performers include Linda Muthama, Cody Thomas and Elvis Kiarie among others.
