Kenyan children have a chance to enjoy a day of carnival fun which will include playground, fitness and school activities at the Stedmak Gardens.
“It is an event for children of all ages,” said Victor Kinyanjui, the organizer of the event. “There will be fun activities such as; bumper cars, merry go rounds, water slides, playhouses, school competitions, and gyroscopes on the swimming pool among others. But it will not just be games; there will also be exercises that will include zumba and rhumba fitness.”

organizers of the event were inspired to hold one where children can express themselves freely while having fun. “It is not just a kids’ event, it is also for family and friends, a place where they can catch up while they have fun.”
Stedmak gardens is also currently undergoing a upgrade that will see the introduction of wild animals at the park. "We are working with Kenya Wildlife Services and we are looking to bring in some wild animals to the park. Animals such as ostriches, wild birds and lions among others at the park, this is so as to increase the attractions at the park.”
Other than being just a carnival park, it is also suitable as a wedding venue, restaurant services, picnics and graduation parties among others."We rent out the venue to anyone who is intrested, we do not provide the tents, tables or the likes.The interested parties have to bring their own."
The park is located on Mokoyeti Road, off Langata Road. It is past Galleria mall and NPC Karen, it is opposite Jubilee Centre.
Advance tickets for the event are going for Sh1200 each while tickets at the gate are Sh1500, for children. Adults get in free.It will take place on March 13 from 10am to 5pm.
