The Hub Karen will on Saturday, 24th September host a kid’s superhero party courtesy of Capital’s Kids Club.

“There is a superhero in all of us and this event is about celebrating that,” said Nana, the organizer of the event. “It is not just a kid’s event, it is also for their parents and they can attend dressed as their favourite super heroes. We want to encourage people to be their own heroes.”

There will be various activities to keep children entertained the whole day such as bouncy castles, a scavenger hunt and superhero training camp.

“The scavenger hunt will also be a selfie challenge. We will hide a few things around the mall and challenge the participants to take a selfie with them once they find it,” said Nana. “The superhero training camp is basically giving children the chance to reenact some of their favourite superhero’s powers such as spiderman and his ability to produce web fluid from his wrists.”

There will also be a Gaming Zone with GametroniQ and LEGO zone. Educative activities such as Little Einsteins East Africa's superhero science and Kartasi Industries Ltd will be in attendance showcasing their cool superhero exercise books.

Activities store; Going Outdoor KE's kayaking all day and Funscapes Hub amazing games among other store will offer discounts on the day.

“Restaurants such as from KFC and Wing It Nairobi, will be offering superhero meals and there will be various goodies to be won,” said Nana.

It will take place from 12pm to 7pm; entry is Sh300 for children and parents.
